My school days in Baltimore...in celluloid

Neil !  Don’t do it!  "Carpe Diem" does NOT mean you kill yourself just because your Nazi dad doesnt like the fact you got the role as Puck in Exeter Academy’s production of MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT !

My own dad, a neurologist did the same thing to me when I wished to go to India to study movies at the Pune Institute !

Wait Neil !  Carpe Diem can be delayed till old Nazi dad expires into ashes and you inherit his estate....THEN you can start your own Shakespeare Troupe as a dinner theatre in Andover, NH !!

Seriously folks, I being an Indian made it all the more uncomfortable to sympathize with Neil’s dad as opposed to Peter Weir’s POV that "carpe diem" or nothing.  Neil should have followed his dad’s advice: graduated from the Academy, attended Yale, got tapped for Skull & Bones and later beat Bobby Jindal on the Republican ticket in the State of Louisiana!
