A lot of the humor falls flat on its face. The movie tries too hard to be cool and the film is full of jokes which aren’t too funny. They try to make up for it by moving from one joke to the next at breakneck speed. Also, the best action sequences have already been paraded in the trailers, leaving little surprises in terms of action, apart from the one-on-one fight at the end which is quite good. There is a bit of fun to be had, especially if you are aware of the Marvel universe, but the amount of inside jokes make little sense to all those who do not follow it.
To top it all, our lovely censor board has played spoilsport by muting a lot of dialogues and cutting around 7 scenes(all this after giving the film an’A’ rating). Give the theaters a miss and buy the uncut dvd if you are that interested in watching the movie.
