A divorce, not for worse, is in retrospect of what a marriage-off-the-track is for. Equally in tandem, it is as good as being in verses that a bird in hand is better than two in the bush. Seldom, a handful of the concerned may negate as they dont opine that this will be the order of the day forever. However, in todays manipulating times which are swifter than time itself, where pre-nuptial agreements and post-divorce settlements are in the midst, where does a marriage stands amidst?
Perhaps, there are more reasons than one or two for seeking a divorce than saving a marriage. When a juncture like matrimony and alimony both of them going hand-in-hand has arrived, there is little anyone could do on the personal front when it matters most.
The primal reason for a divorce being sought is - LACK OF UNDERSTANDING. This could be thwarted off to a zero ground if caught awares in the primitive stages itself. Nevertheless, it requires husbands and wifes consent rather mutual consent for a counselling session. It could be held by the family members or by the professionals.
In extension, there are some extreme instances where a divorce is like a second life for a few unlucky(or lucky) ones wherein the reasons range from adultery to impotency. Contrary to the fact that a broken glass is broken always, one must start life again from scratch which should be the other side of the coin.
Divorce wouldnt have been so diverse if at all there could have been more stringent procedures for obtaining it depending upon the reasons cited.
One must remember that law is a means to get rescued under a "no-way" situation rather than utilising it as a method to be apart without any reasonable reason.
Why to marry at all when to divorce? The society has got an alternative for this too. Live-in relationships. No marriage. So, no divorce. Now, I presume that an institution called divorce will be off a persons life as there will be no requirement.
Winding up, I hope that people will still keep off a divorce but the other way round. I mean by RESPECTING MARRIAGE.
Take care all,
Ravi.
