I placed an order on Dealsandyou.com on Jan. 26, 2012 and received the products around Feb. 20, 2012 by courier. Firstly, It was not at all properly packed, order was in a plastic envelope. Secondly, when I opened it, there was no invoice inside it(or on it).
About the products, I had ordered a "mechanical charger" & a "SIM card reader" as shown on the Dealsandyou.com. But the products that I received were pretty different in terms of the specifications, as well as looks, from the products shown at Dealsandyou site. As per site, the mechanical charger could be used in 2 different ways. One, by rotating the wheel handle by hands, and second byrolling the device to-and-fro(the roll-on mode). But the charger received by me only had the handle rotating mode, NO ROLL-ON MODE. Then as shown on the site and also confirmed by the dealsandyou Customer Care(which I had contacted before ordering the products), the charger I ordered was a multi-brand charger that comes with multiple small adaptor tips meant for different mobile handsets. But the charger received by me had ONLY ONE ADAPTOR TIP(as opposed to many) and that too was not compatible with my cell phone.
The second product ordered was a "SIM card & all in one multi card reader". The product shown on site was a sleek product with a proper cap to protect the USB. The one that I’ve received is rather bulky looking one with no such cap.
Hence the products received by me do not match the description of the products ordered by me, and to top it all, they forgot to put in ls the invoice as well. And it does not end here.
Firstly, I received products which did not match the description of products ordered by me, as per their site. For the same, I lodged a complaint at customer care on Feb. 22, 2012 with a complaint no. - 49643. And then I had to repeatedly keep calling their cust. care for a resolution. After giving me numerous conversation IDs and continuously dilly-dallying for more than a month, on March 28th I was finally given contact info of "Gizmobazaar Pvt. Ltd.", apparently, they were my vendors(according to D&U). I contacted them, and after 7-10 days of processing, they told me that the order was not processed by them and I need to contact Deals And You agajn. Hence, back to square one.
Till then, numerous mails or calls to Dealsandyou have yielded no results. They are plain frauds, trying to make quick bucks by conning customers. To sum up I can say, Dealsandyou stands for
SHITTY PRODUCTS, SLOWEST DELIVERY TIME, DISGUSTING PRODUCT PACKAGING, PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE.
IF THE MONEY THAT YOU HAVE IS HARD EARNED, DON’T BOTHER WASTING IT ON DEALSANDYOU.
PLZ STAY AWAY FROM THESE CHEATS.
