Average movie

In our life we tend to have conflicts with the people around us but we dont pay attention to the biggest of then all which is the conflict with in.it is very heartening to see a story/theme in hindi cinema which talks about this rarely focused self inflicted dilemma.the most convulated relationship in the world is between you and yourself! .we all can relate to this in our lives.some tell to others some dont. in life we must have mentor( s) in the form of family or friends or qualified psychologist with whom we can open ourselves anytime with out any fuss.the movie thankfully highlights the need of psychological mapping of an individual which is still considered as taboo in our society.the conversation scenes between Dr. Khan, the psychologist and Kaira can be the life pills for anybody.very deep and very well .some of the quotes and dialogues remind us of a Hrishikesh Mukherjee film.striking thing to be understood from them is to know and believe in yourself well.if you are successful in that then you need nobody to validate your views or actions which we often tend to do in our lives.Dont think about what people around you think about you.actually we have all the answers with us, we need just one person to make us recognize it and it is you only who can make you recognize this.but problem with the film is the lacking of such wisdom pearls especially in the first half.one has to have a lot of patience if you want to sit throughout the movie else there are ample chances that you feel really bored by the intrinsic slowness of the script.it is refreshing to see SRK who is choosing mature and relavent chracters of late.he as Dr. Khan is very subtle with full of irresistible charm.he is like a mentor everybody would like to have in his or her life all the time especially in ’self created crisis’.but movie is all about and truly belongs to Alia Bhatt, a talented DoP, who has potrayed an insecure, jeolous and disturbed soul very skillfully.she doesnt like the things in an organized manner and doesnt want to be in a permanent relationship but pretends that she doesnt care.the root of all these is careless parenthood.movie raises pertinent questions about upbringing of children.Alia is perfect in some of the scenes related to that which are very emotional.i guess it is the most difficult chracter Alia has played till date effortlessly.Gauri Shinde’s direction is good but not at the level of ’English vinglish’ .music and cinematograhy in the picturesque Goa are in sync with the movie.it is a come of age kind of movie, especially for 20 something population. We all must acknowledge that God has given us a wonderful life and we should not waste it by overthinking.we must act and decide as per our will only.so say all the negativities of our life just go to hell and embrace our near n dear ones as tight as possible.never ever let them go.Love you Zindagi.be in touch.always.
