Continuous Tension

Dan Brown’s name as a famous novelist is of no doubt, But getting the book "Da Vinci Code" is not possible in my library. Seeing Dan Brown on the cover page, I didnt even see the name of the book, just carried it home!

After reading about 40 pages, I needed a break when I saw the name of the book.

The story revolves around Rachel Sexton, and the metorite. Also the President election. The campaign is on. One of the candidate for the election is Senator Sedgewick Sexton who is  also the father of Rachel Sexton.

The story is interesting and gives good scope to learn many new things. We also come to know what are all things present in a metorite, How planktons survive etc. This is the background on which we move from Rachel’s point of view,

In the other part we have the dirty politics of becoming the President, and how low people can go to maintain key posts of the world is shown.

The story gives a commentary on the sources of funds for the world politics, the curtain that is between the actual world and actual president, the hidden parts of the formation and the details of how the administration is run.

The events that are recorded that can change the parts and parcel of the way things are understood is also seen.

The book also highlights the reason why things are left to understanding of people by their own instead of making public certain known things, and keeping things to mystery.

The Story also shows why a  Centralised centre for research should be with the govt, and not be in the hands of capitalists.

The characters of Rachel Sexton and  Michael and the others are well made, and there are many surprises and story swings very differently, but its more like a Hindi movie, where its only the hero who wins .

But till the time you read it, you keep loving it, to know how ur tension will be released.

Have fun reading the book!
