Note: My issue is still not resolved, but its wrongly marked asResolved by MOUTHSHUT.com. I will update this review by myself when my issue is resolved. As of now the project is still not completed eventhough the contract was signed in May22.
While there are lot of promises on completing the project in 45 days, in reality they take a lot of time. My project is already delayed by 2 months and still I do not have a confirmed date of closure. My contract was signed in May and its still not completed.
Work happens at a very slow pace and typically they dont bother too much about the dates promised in the contract. If you are planning anything based on the project delivery date promised by them, it will be wise to add a delay of 3 months to 4 months delay to the promised delivery date. Else you will have all the pressure in the world while the decorpot team will work at its own pace.
No one bothers about the end date of the project that they signed in the contract. They work at their own pace and many a times the delays is because they dont have enough materials like hinges, adhesives in their warehouse
Only plywood is cut and designed in their factory. Once that is done itself they will be behind you to get 100% of the amount. Once it is paid, you are at their mercy. Typically your project will have other requirements like granite, mirrors, glass shutters etc. while you will pay for it in advance, they will start placing the order only 2 months after the promised delivery date. So no way you are going to get the project on time
They have a pretty good sales team, but they disappear once the project start facing hurdles. After that they will not even attend your call and vanish completely
No way to escalate - they are all the same from bottom to top. probably they are used to treating customers like this and have many projects that are mismanaged and got used to this.
In hindsight, the whole business model is in their favour. In no other business we will pay the vendor in full without seeing the finished goods. Here you will make the payment even before the materials are bought.
The customers typically trust them or cajoled by their sales team to pay in advance, but this is certainly a misplaced trust as far as my case is concerned, and I am sure I am not the only one to feel this way.
Let me see when my project gets over and I will keep updating my review comment based on the status of their delivery and execution.
