One more Vashu Bhagnani (producer) film this year looks promising but fails to keep the best of Vashu going this time, as usual Vashu provides all the support to this film with his great Marketing brains, to keep the real moving in front of the television audience and the moviegeors, unfortunately, giving less to the quality of the film.
This time round Vashu come up again with a love story, cast of Diya Mirza (Kiran) and Arjun Rampal (Sooraj)and other supporting cast such as Vinod Khanna (Ranvir Chaudhary) and Om Puri (Sooraj’s Father, written & directed by Ashu Trikha.
The Story starts of with a beautifull locale of Snow mountain where our young Sooraj (Arjun Rampal) goes to Sking and then comes the young and beautiful Kiran (Diya Mirza) on the screen, where she comes to the place for a trip where Sooraj resides , with college friends, misses her bus on the first occasion and pleads with Arjun to help her catch the bus, in a unique heroic style, he slides down the mountain holding Diya’s hand and manages to reaches before the bus could reach. Same old winning the girl heart, he falls in love with the girl on the first sight.
As the story continue, he manages to introduce himself to Diya and also manages to convince her to go along with him to the Old Temple. Just the two of them ha modern thinking. While moving towards the temple Sooraj display his unique style of showing his guts through bungie jumping. and rest is understood.
Diya moves to Bombay, and surprisingly after few days Om Puri that Sooraj’s father is being offered a transfer and to choice between 2 places Bombay & Delhi and he asks Sooraj for his choice , he says Bombay, keeping in mind his Love Diya.
They move to Bombay, joins the college, get some boys to rag him and ask him to play for a basketball game, which he manages to win all alone, which certainly a hero can do haa.
He gets along with them joins the football team , at the party he meets Diya by surprise and he explains her everything and proposes his love. Diya except it.
Then the real drama begins where Vinod Khanna (Ranvir chaudhari) diya father is a very rich and powerful man with his contacts from Chief Minister to the Commissioner of Police and people with best in business. He try to scare and show every power he has to Arjun Rampal and gives him 30 days to leave the city and go.
Arjun fights all the odds from Vinod Khanna and at the end of the film which is predictable wins over Vinod Khanna’s heart.
Few things in the film to watch beautiful locales of south africa and New Zealand.
Music not quite to the best from Aadesh Srivastav except one song which is the Marriage Song sung by Adnan Sami. Kept good in the film.
Diya is trying to work at her best in this film too, manages to come up little better.
Arjun tries to comes up with Salman style, other wise a little good act.
Vinod Khanna best as ever.
All and all its nothing to watch except Diya beauty and Vinod Khanna Power.
