''''''1/2 Mental Gone Full-Mental''''''

Firoz Nadiadwala is the producer who is given us some good movies and some very good music as well. This time comes up with Deewane Hue Pagal along with Vikram Bhatt as the director, who has poor record as director in recent times. Firoz last time given Aan and that has memorable music not greatest but was decent. Now the expectations are high from him and as he repeats his music Jodi Anu Malik & Sameer so some more expectations arose.

Music: Anu Malik

Lyrics: Sameer

Maar Sutiya

Anu Malik

Copied. One word for the track. The song reminds Rishi Rich’s Dil Mera from Kya Kool Hai Hum . Anu Malik is usual in his style of singing trying to become Michael Jackson. The song is clear inspiration and not so old as KKHH is a recent movie and we heard the song more than 1000 times a day as every TV-Channel use to play it. Lyrics are cheap and garam masala type. One could have easily loved the track if he has not heard the original one. Nice copying start by Anu Malik to the album. ( I think no singer would have agreed to sing the copied song so Anu sing it by himself)

Meri Jane Jigar

Anu Malik

Copied. One word for the track. Anu Malik fans will be happy to see this second song with singer Anu Malik. Again the song in western style of music. The song is not well controlled and sung by Anu moreover I got a link of this song with Westlife’s song so every admiring thought ran away. Overall an average song.

Tu Hai Tu Hai

Shan & Sunidhi Chauhan

Boring track. This is one note I can give to this song. Truly speaking Anu Malik is the one who could have compose this kind of song. Arrangements are more likely similar to Pritam’s style. Spanish style of music always loving and so is the music of the song but Shan and Sunidhi sung it in a poor manner. It demands more to make a song loving. The English chorus kills the melody and finally the song proves a boring material.

Sutradhar I & II

Anu Malik

Munna Bhai MBBS style. A situational track which will come and go. The only thing is the guitar which reminds us Bryan Adams songs. It is a Prelude of the movie and describes the story of the people in the movie. Its more a jingle and lyrics are only to describe a narrative. Anu Malik tries his level best to give a clue that he is the best singer but fails all together. Overall a OK track.

Chakle Chakle

Anu Malik

I am Confused as still not able to identify the original song either its Anu’s own or any other but heard before feeling is there. Stupid lyrics are highlight of this song. Anu Malik tried to repeat No Entry and as then again fail to meet the expectations. Here I am completely sure that a wise singer would never want to sing songs like this and that is the reason why Anu Malik sung the song by himself. Below average track.

Aisi Umar Mein

Shan, Kunal Ganjanwala & Krishna

Whats Going on. in order to be different and trying to make a lengthy track Anu Malik used three singers and a lot of music pretty much similar to the 50-Non-Stop hits in one go. It is a confused composition. I think these days Anu Malik is more frustrated and this song is one example of his frustration. Sameer as the continuation of the album disappoints in this song too. s

Anu Malik completely disappoints, in order to follow the pattern of Himesh Reshammiya who recently given a Superhit Aashiq Banaya Aapne with singing most songs by himself. This music will also rule in the charts as it is appeared on screen but in my charts for this album Thumbs Down. At least I don’t have soft corner for this kind of music. I know Anu Malik fans will not like this review but it is a bitter truth in the end.

Thanks

It’s Sana ( ( ( ( ( O ) ) ) ) )
