which has seen railways many decades later developed Bullet trains running at 350 km per hour.
We can understand that this happended due to lack of vision at Government level.
DRDO is established in Socialist Era of Pundit Jawahar Lal Nehru with great vision
but now DRDO is reduced to manufacturing factory of weapon systems. So conficting roles of
Research and mass manufacturing is causing dilemma and clash of ideologies.
It is Goverments misdeeds and political thinking that caused failure of Public sector enterprises.
DRDO , HMT, HINDUSTAN SHIP YARD, IDPL, ITI, etc are no exception.
We can’t rate these organisations. only you can rate bribe taking MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENTS
for asking questions.
I feel DRDO can outsource manufacturing activity to L&T, BHEL Etc, and can float
a separate company for this like " lndian Weapons Manufacturing organisation’.
Thereby DRDO labs can concentrate on pure research.
