Uttranchal’s capital being Dehradun, is a place where I have been studying for 2 years. A place where now days mainly every second person can be seen
This review is about guiding you through some things and some main area which you should go ahead and watch out for, if you ever travel by Dehradun.
Whenever you go to Dehradun do make a point to be president hotel, best place to be in as it has mainly all the market area around it which is known to be on Chakrata road.
The main attractions of Dehradun :
*Forest Research Institute
*Indian Institute of Petroleum is located in the city
*Training Institutes like Indian Military Academy, RIMC (Rashtriya Indian Military College)
* Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA)
*Lal Bahadur Shahstri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA)
*Rajaji National Park
*You can also travel from ddun to Chardhams.
Out of all these the main area I have seen is:
Indian military academy – Dehradun
IMA had started on 1st October 1932. I remember being in this academy two times in my life firstly when I was selected in March past and second time when there was BBC Master Mind was doing a shoot.
IMA motto being Virta and Vivek which in other words means the safety honour and welfare of your country come first always and every time the honour welfare and comforts of the men you command come next your own comfort and safety your own come last always and every time.
I happen to notice loads of things in the army area they were:-
* Colours of academy which are steel grey and blood red which actually meant wisdom and sacrifice.
*Somnath stadium, Salaria swimming pool, library, Bhagat Battalion, Equilation section, house of Khetrapal, obstacles courses, museums and panama hall.
I had enjoyed being in there and I think its only military area I have ever been too.
The next thing you should view is the market area being in the market wouldn’t be different at all I think every market in India looks the same, crowded and you can get anything in there
Dehradun is also known as Doon valley and is a visitors main spot, so what are you thinking, when are you planning to be there?
Do go ahead and do rafting and if you don’t like Dehradun do travel on and on till Massouri for better veiw.
Notice for everyone do go off Dehradun you will find yourself in Selakui, a beautiful place only consisting of one or two boarding schools called Hope town girls school (my school), you would be surprised to see your self in a nice and peaceful area with small village around.
A cute place is mainly under construction due to the less space and more weight!!!!
