Sometimes you enter the cinema hall with zero expectations and get pleasantly surprised by a film that may be having a limited budget or no big stars Dekh Re Dekh is one such film which is recommended for those who don’t really fancy big stars in their movies and like to watch a ‘hatke’ film.
Though it got embroiled in a " TITLE " COPYRIGHT CONTROVERSEY, since it was earlier named DEKH BHAI DEKH, really the name change does’nt matter as long as it can be enjoyable.
It has been named a BLACK COMEDY by many, maybe after the plot.the film has wonderfully interwoven through flashbacks, the lives and troubles of Babli( Gracy Singh), Shyam(Siddharth Koirala), Yadav(Raghuveer Yadav), and Charan(Vijay Raaz).Slightly slow plot, but the dialogues are superb and keep you in splits. ending is what I did not expect.
Gracy singh really rocks in the movie, I enjoyed watching her thoroughly( after a long gap), specially after Munnabhai MBBS. she is one good actress. Raaz delivers with perfect sense of timing. Yadav anyways is good at anything. only was a wee bit dsappointed with Siddarth. expected him to have a better facial expression than the one he shows.
Rahat Kazmi’s debut directorial attempt is impressive, must say, I givce full thumbs up, must watch.you will not regret the trip to the cinema hall, I say
