Overhyped - Underperformed.The whole movie is based around the theme of ’Kala Bandar’ which keeps popping up every now and then.
There is no story - no emotional connections between the actors.Cinematography is poor and the Depiction of Delhi is pathetic and amateurish. In fact the programs in Discovery or Travel and living show Delhi in a much better fashion. Sonam acted well.
She has shown that she is capable of handling much tougher roles.Abhishek as usual continues with his wooden-stone faced expression. Whether its love or hate or surprise or anger, he has the same wooden expression on his face.
Rishi is good but he hardly has a role.Going by the name I thought that the directer should have exploited the beautiful sights and sounds of Delhi, but this aspect too was extremely dissapointing. Except for a few shots of Jama Masjid and a few streets nothing else was shown.Overall the movie is EXTREMELY BORING and wanders about aimlessly in the street of Delhi.Better to See Slumdog a second or third time than see this stuff.
