Beggars and louts in uniform empowered by CM

I am working in New Friends Colony and policemen come to our office premises accompanied by senior honchos demanding money for 3rd shift", and pocket rent for which we have to work 10 hours a day 6 days a week. They do not give any receipt and they take hard cash. I would

like a number that I could dial the next time such rogues come so that they can be caught red-handed.

If they were so diligent in their duty their would not be so many red-light violations while the traffic police just looks askance. If they want to earn money, why not book traffic offenders and make them pay?

Power is seen more as a corrupting influence than a tool to evolve into better righteous beings worthy of his ancestors. People find it more rewarding to choose the easier wrong than the harder right. Yet people expect God’s blessings. How much is enough? On the one hand we have a emaciated beggar, who has not eaten for days, begging for food just to survive, on the other hand a corpulent Police constable comes to our office and loiter around for bribe from our BPO running in a residential area.

I do not feel I live in a free country until I am not free to not pay a bribe to get my work done. There is no freedom in countries where one is coerced to bribe rent seeking policemen to look askance while we have to pay bribe under the table. Why should we have to incur expense in order to run a business that is generating employment for staff and revenue for the country in terms of foreign exchange?

Does Delhi Police have no work that they loiter around our office for wads of notes that they take by flexing their authoritarian muscle? With the number of murders, rapes, Jessica Lal type cases, traffic offenses, road rage skirmishes and emergency services required, they ought to get enough money from just penalising errant red-light jumpers. I wrote a letter to Police Headquarter at complaints@core.nic.in,   and even identified the New Friends Colony Police Station with the name of the rogue constables, but still these rascals unabashedly visit our offices to take thousands of rupees in bribe. Needless to say, we have no record of the tens of thousands given to them till date and they keep coming back for more. It seems that the Police has no work on its hands and these men are out to grab money by manipulation and trickery, rather than intellect and toil.

Shame on the Police Department and the state government of Delhi to allow this to happen to "aam aadmi".

Below is the copy of my complaint filed to which no action has been taken:
