My relative’s daughter used to study in DPS South Bangalore and I had an impression of DPS based on the feedback heard from her. They were reasonably happy with the school.
With the same impression, I put my child in DPS East based on where I stay.
But later realized there is a huge difference between what DPS South is and what DPS East is. Difference is as big as between Horse and Donkey, Urban and Rural, Heaven and Earth. The Management, teaching practices, transportation facilities, each and every small to big thing related to a school is so very poorly handled and practised in comparison to DPS South.
Later realized that one who runs the franchise in Bangalore, his kids are in South branch. No wonder why other branches are sufferers as they are just means of business.
My child’s bus has breakage almost every month. Poor kids have to suffer but owner cannot obviously feel the pain. Transportation guys promised to deliver a new bus and they did sent a different bus saying it is new, guess what..it has break down every 15 days. Poor kids are swapped to a different bus every now and then on deadly traffic roads.
Study patters are so pathetic. In DPS south it is made sure a child understands a particular chapter thoroughly well. While in DPS East they just run at their own rocket pace without bothering if a child is understanding the basics (of education) or not. Teacher ticks the class work even if it is full of spelling mistakes and full wrong mathematical calculations. He or she is left at the mercy of their parents to correct first their classwork and then make them do their homework.
Please do not go by name DPS . All branches are not same. Investigate thoroughly before you put your loved ones to learn their basics of life.
