I had ordered a phone from Snapdeal on 11-Dec. Snapdeal shipped the phone on 12-Dec through Delhivery(tracking number 11189892805). The package was shipped from Pune and I aslo live in Pune. A few days later when I checked the status, I was horrfied to see that they have sent the package to Mumbai Andheri!
Anyway, after 8 days when they came to deliver it, it was in a very bad shape so I did not accept it. When I called Snapdeal for a refund they said they would provide a refund until the product reaches back to them! Today is 2-Jan(almost 15 days since I cancelled the order) and Delhivery has not been able to ship it back from Pune Wakad to Pune Camp yet! It’s just 15 KM and other courier services ship even coffee from Bangalore in 1 day(Yes Amazon sent CCD coffee from Bangalore to my Pune in 1 day!).
Just take a look at the trips this package has made and how it is stuck from last 5 days at one location in the tracking status below! Writing this so that others can take heed and stay away from Delhivery as well as Snapdeal! Just don’t understand the logic why every package has to be routed to Mumbai even it the origin and destination is Pune! Last time I had ordered something from Pepperfry.com also they delivered the package after 1.5 months and damaged!
At least Pepperfry has good customer service and they issued me a refund promptly, but you can’t expect that from Snapdeal!
