Entry Level Lappie

Value for money lappie if u planning to buy. I guess, dell has discontinued it already. Neway, just wished to share Constraints 1st:

  1. poor touchpad. hdd directly under it, causing it run hot & malfunction

  2. poor built factor. I got my lcd replaced as it developed scratches by touching the keypad

Now, some spectacular features:

  1. out of world LCD. not even vaio competes it. great contrast & viewing angle (1440*900)

  2. 5.1 ch audio. I am a movie buff. this lappie is made 4 me

  3. 4USBs. mouse, usb speakers, ext.HDD, and a pendrive, room 4 all! wow!

  4. S-video & HDMI out. @weekends, I enjoy hi-res movies on my TV+home theator system

  5. IR Remote. movies, presentations, stuff, all jazzed up!

Overall, 4.5 hrs backup on 6-cell (on vista basic theme, without sidebar)

I love to operate lappie on my belly, lying down, with head resting against wall.

this is there audio jack hinder to plug-in speakers. this damages audio cord.

Gr8 lappie, but HP is catching fast. I got HP business 4 my bro.

comparatively it is lite weight, good backup (6hrs @ vista basic, 6-cell)

I shifted from dell as I couldn’t wait too long for centrino2 to arrive.

HP was fast, but I still love dell coz of their customer service. too helpful.

I once damaged my LCD using collin, the executive helped me getting a new TFT.

It was sent to my, with an expert, and all done free of cost! DELL ROX!!

Great Value for money! I got creative earphones, backpack and a A/V TV kit in less than 45K.

bought an year back, T7250, 1GB*2, 160GB, XWGA+ TFTLCD, 6-cell, 65-watt power, intel 3100 gfx

Overhauled this lappie.. Improved its mechanics.. Cleaning, screwing, and padding..

placed a piece of packaging sponge (outta my AC’s packing) between the touchpad and MoBo..

Now 85% of the ’HEATING’ and ’lack of touch-sensing’ problem resolved! :D

Battery @ 46% efficiency! I guess, its life is over.. Just dragginf thru, not willing to invest..

Wanna switch to Centrino2 platform / netbook.. :)
