I was searching for the best laptop for Mechanical engineer for running the 3D application softwares. I recently bought dell Inspiron 5558 laptop. It has intel i7 processor. And a RAM capacity of 8GB and 1TB secondary storage. With Windows 8.1 single language 64bit operating system. And was able to upgrade for Windows 10 operating system. Also it has a NIVIDA GeForce 920M 4GB graphics card and also it has inbuilt 2GB intel graphics. Which is an added advantage for gaming enthusiasts.
The look is very attractive and it has a glass finishing outside covering.
The main characteristic I like about this laptop is that it has a decent battery life of 5-6hours after one full charge.
It has a very good support for the 3D Application Softwares and simulation software ( ANSYS) .There is very less heating.
There is no hangs while playing the games.
Over all I would like to suggest this laptop for the students.
