For 8k it’s a decent Android phone.The reason I chose dell over Samsung is a perception of reliability issues with Samsung - I may not be true. I saw good rating on flipkart and snapdeal for the XCD35 and went for it. First 3 days, battery doesn’t last at all and if I have my GPRS on it just keeps vanishing, battery charge.
Samsung, after all, the new Galaxy series may be a better bet. Since this was for my second phone, I am still OK. If you are choosing for 1st phone, better go for samsung glaxy y series where you have 3 to 5 variants available for under 10K
