I have been using the Dell XPS 15 for three years now and I am totally in love with it. It packs monstrous specifications at an affordable price. 6 GB RAM, i5 processor with a 2GB graphic card and 500 GB Hard disk capacity, what else would you desire?! Buy a pair of 3D Goggles and you wouldn’t want to leave the machine alone. Laptop performance lives up to its specs. I have never had a problem with its functioning. the HDMI port comes handy when you want to watch a movie with the family or on a bigger screen.
The JBL speakers are amazing. A sound experience like no other. These speakers are enough even while watching with a group, that loud and clear. For a living room size party, the speaker can work wonders.
The accidental warranty is a very useful aspect of every Dell laptop. While carrying your laptop, you trip suddenly and the screen breaks. If not a Dell, then this scenario would give you nightmares. I have enjoyed this laptop’s run so far.
However, recently the hinge broke and I need to get it replaced outside of warranty. When I approached them, I was told that the fresh parts weren’t being produced and only the products under warranty were being serviced. I would have to wait if for the out of warranty servicing. Still waiting on it. Its been two months.:(
