I’d begin by saying : DELTA SUCKS .
I’ve never flown a worse aircraft than Delta.This was my first journey and i’m sure it was the last.
I regretted every moment of my 8.5 hours of journey from Paris to Mumbai.
The crew were all Indians, but the air hostess could not understand when I asked her , if they served SPIRITS.
I had to ask them if they served alcohol , and then did they understand that I was asking for Whisky/Beer or any other alcoholic drink.
It was a real pity, that at the moment I boarded the flight I was asked to move to the corner most window seat of the plane, beacuse the seat I was alloted earlier had been alloted to someone else, and I was in no mood to pick up a fight over this and I just moved. When I sat on the window seat I could see how dirty the flight was and seemed as though it was not cleaned for quite sometime.
The food served was unbelievably pathetic and the dinner was just a sandwich made out of stale bread. There were just 2 channels to listen to and a 10 year old hindi movie being played thrice in 8.5 hours.
They even charged 4 dollars for a 100 ml of alcohol.
What else to expect from an airline that is on the verge of bankruptcy.
The flight was delayed right at the start cos the cargo could not be loaded on time.
Overall, it was a pathetic experience .
After that I swore I would never fly Delta again.
