I got this fabulous Denon for 23999/- from Hypercity mall in Mumbai. It was a demo piece so got it at a lower price.
There is a Reliance digital outlet just next to Hypercity who were quoting 29000/- for the same model and in spite of me telling them of the great price at Hypercity, they were no willing to offer any discount. So they helped me make up my mind and I went ahead to buy it.
I had sampled it earlier at some outlets so I knew about the sound and features. This is a good product although it doesn’t even feature on the International Denon website except Asian one.
The sound is great especially the bass . It has the largest sized active subwoofer box in its price range [read Yamaha, Onkyo etc.].
It has an optical input through which you can connect your 5.1ch DVD player for that awesome 5.1 digital sound. It has Hdmi video upscaler input though it does not transmit audio.
Movies as well as music sound good. All in all a value for money product.
