Though there are many options in Jaipur I liked the overall ambience, the decor, the coziness and especially the royale living in the royal suite. Small, centrally located(just behind central bus stand, yet there is no noise) and very clean with good furnishing.
The problem I faced was it lacked sufficient heating. It was very cold(in Feb 08) and the heater provided, on request, was very inadequate for the big room. Also I stayed in the best room of the hotel and had a nice big bathroom with a tub. But there was no hot water. By the time the tub was 10% full all the water was cold and hence could not enjoy the tub. The food is prepared more to suit the foreigners, feels a bit bland for indian tastebuds. I expected more interaction with the owners which did not happen.
This is not a negative review(as it may sound) but definitely a good place to stay and relax. I would surely recommend it to others.
