The other day, one of my father’s friend asked about which liquid soap to use; and without much effort Dettol handwash came out as a recommendation.
I am not a regular user of this. Not a firm believer in theory, I treat every handwash as the same; as long as they foam up, coming in contact with water and wash away the dirt!
I would use anything that’s readily available but using Dettol gives me a sense of trust. I remember using Dettol soaps in childhood and its’medicated’ aroma gives me a sort of feel-good.
I don’t know if the handwash kills 99% or whatever germs but using Dettol is a legacy, a heritage product quite successful in maintaining its reign for a long time.
