To begin with why the name Dev D? I dont know !. I saw this movie but after wasting 2 hours I didnt know why. drugs, horny women and lusty stoned men find solace in each other. what was the purpose of the movie ?

promote drugs
prostitution?

Abhay deol has acted well but the plot stinks of boredom excluding the media hype. I do not understand the how and whys of this movie. the songs are as bad as the director who was juSt stoned enough to keep a known budding actor and lesser known females for this low budget E grade movie.
As for those who think its different - I think yes its different - a planned time waste and talent waste of Deol who unlike his cousins has an idea of how to act!. My recommendation to watch this movie: at home, when you are super high wanting to return to gloomy world of depression.
As for those who live a stoned life full of one night stands and make use of prostitutes for deliverance- go ahead people this is the movie that you will enjoy. For women especially i’ll tell you not see this crap. if you do well then good luck - its going to shake your notions of LOVE but clear the notions of lust.
