Lord Shiva/Mahadev Shiva also known as Mahadev-the Supreme God.He is a hermit by nature, however begins a life of a householder upon his marriage to Sati-the human incarnation of his enternal consort Goddess Adi Shakti.Upon her death, he reverts back to renouncing all worldly relations and begins to live the life of a hermit once again.He is later reunited with Adi Shakti who takes the form of Parvati. It is very beautiful to see God’s behavior/responses for certain things and we can learn a lot from it, for example if you observe carefully you will find that Siva will not talk unless needed and he speaks with calm, confident & pious voice. He loves Sathi so much and tries very hard to save her though she argues a lot and creates troubles, it shows how a husband should take care of his wife. If anybody understands Siva’s behavior and try to follow the same their life will be beautiful without much arguments & conflicts.Ganga Ganga, is older sister to Parvati, and is the Scared River Goddess Ganga.She is born to Himavan, but later on resides in Swarga on Lord Bramhas request.She has a strong attraction towards Mahadev who rebukes her, hence making her bitter towards him.Later on she desends on earth, with the intention of washing everything away, but Mahadev contains her in his Jaata-hence getting the name of Gangadhara.
