Before the review, I want you people to let you know that Dhadak is remake of marathi film Sairat which was originally released in 2016 in marathi which got popular among Maharashtrians.
Now the lead characters of the movie are Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishan khattar and according to me both of them were very good at acting but at times they did too much in terms of acting as much as I know and the other characters in the movie following them also acted pretty well.
Now lets get straight into the plot of the story
So, Madhu ( Ishan) is in the early years of its twenties and is just mesemerized by the beauty of Parthvi ( Jahnvi) and even loved her.
Now, Madhu belonged to a middle class family residing in Udaipur where his father was an owner of a lake side restaurant and then Jhanvi belonged to a rich class family and was daughter of a Famous politician in Udaipur.
Now, Madhu liked Parthvi way before even parthvi knew about it and then both of them met at several places and there were several instances happening between both of them which led both of them vloser and even then Parthvi started to like him and all those instances Madhu trying to impress Parthvi with two of his friends with him played good as a comic role in the movie.
Now, Madhu considered as low caste in the society and Parthvi considered to be high caste rich family and because of that society does not accept thier love and they both ran away just when Parthvis father catched him with Madhu kissing her as it was a part of bet between both of them.
So, this movie is all about love drama with good dosage of comedy and you need to watch the movie to know what happened with Madhu and Parthvi and the way movie ends up or the climax scene was a bit surprising but still made sense as far as that sitaution was considered and the most of the movie was recorded in Rajasthani language as much as I know.
Talking about music, it was pretty good but there was some times when the high end and mid tones got mixed and for a second I thought its due to the theatre where I was watching the movie but no, it was the movie itself
And also cinematography was decent enough showcasing the beauty of Udaipur and the lakes too.
so, overall it was a good movie filled with a lot of drama and love and this movie deserves your weekend and your time will be well spent.
Thank You !
