goal is the mixture that is not well prepared.it looks like the director wanted to insure both commercial masala and some of serious issue same time in a inappropriate way, so it end up in a mess of both, this is not a full masala entertainer not a serious one either.
story is as simple for a sport movie pick up a underdog team, a winning cause, few problems,
and one hero to overcome to all of these.it’s seems quite simple but actually isn’t, that’s why goal fails to impress.

i wasn’t expecting something extraordinary but please if you are bringing up racial abuse and some of more serious issue in a sports movie at least do justice to it.don’t use it to benefit you and waste it’s importance.
acting was ok, arshad was good but was not looking comfortable in a sportsperson that too a footballer, absolute no
john was the only one who was looking like a footballer, but surely not his best performance.
as I said earlier boman was a let down.
music was good, but not inspiring.
cinematography was also good, not remarkable though.
on the whole NOT A GOAL at least for me, try next time.
