Dhanolti is a 30km drive from Mussorie. A small hill station that can be quite a holiday destination especially if you loathe privacy.
Its cold weather and the surroundings all well concealed by Himalayan forests make it a peek-a-boo hill along with the occasional fog and winding snaked roads. I like Dhanolti for its quietness and dark aura due to its concealed location. Ideal for people escaping the heat of the plains. Winters bring snow to Dhanolti and that’’s when the little town looks it’’s best.
