The song dheere dheere is a modification of the ashiqui’s original Dheere Dheere.
The singer/rapper has tried to combine the beauty of 90’s lyrical and musical genius and combine it with the electronic catchy phenomenon that has been going on in the recent years. The song also included a beautiful video starring Sonam Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan produced by Bhushan Kumar.
The song became the first Indian music video to cross 200 million views on YouTube. It was also the big hit yo yo Honey Singh hasn’t been able to produce in a long time.
Talking about the orinality of the song leads us to two question whether to look at the song as a whole to test the originality or to look at the elements separately. Since the song is a recreation of the classic from Ashiqui it isn’t really an original song but the song has been recreated by the artist beautifully and deserves all the recognition it got and still is getting.
