An Insult to the Audience

This cannot be even classified as a movie .. half the movie was in slow motion which made it even more painful to sit through. I understand that special effects give good production value but the whole movie was one big special effect. There were so many flaws in the movie that I think I might be here all evening writing this.. but here are some aspects that top the list of ’what the f’ (infact I must have said that atleast 100 times)

  • Porn like scenes... the way the girls were presented in the movie was some male fantasy ..NO BRAINS NO CLOTHES... obviously catering to the large male audience.. they acted so fake and every time they were walking it was like they were on the catwalk and not in a movie.. I felt like I was watching scenes from Vogue or some other glossy magazine and not a movie.. the depiction of woman as stupid objects with maximum exposure was not only a insult to the intelligent woman of the country but is also setting a very dangerous precident for the the impressionable young girls...

  • No dialogues.. most of the movie was just slow motion scenes which no dialouge or continuity .. I don’t even know if it can be classified as a movie rather a documentary on special effects..

  • Insult to the audience... What the hell had brazil got to do with anything .. yet another chance for the director to show naked woman (too obvious) and what happened to the brazilian police or doesn’t brazil have a police force that they have to use the services of mumbai police .. please give me a break ..

  • Poorest characterisation

Bipasha : Instead of a police woamn she looked like a glorified porn star who just played the role of a police woman.. they showed her to be stupid and abhishek to be the smarter one. I would imagine that any police woman who makes it through the ranks of a male dominated profession would be focused and the best .. then she becomes the bikini clad bimbo in brazil .. yet another male fantasy...

Abhishek : Didn’t quite understand what he was doing in the movie.. he was constantly being beaten and showed no class at all.. a lalo police officer .. infact he was looking so tired throughout the movie.

Hrithik: Excellent dances and probably the only one that came close to having some sort of characterisation.. yet again that was flawed with him falling in love in true bollywood fashion in the last 5 minutes. Hats of to his dances though those ten minutes were the only thing that was worth watchin in the movie..

Aishwariya: looked like a fake barbie doll yet again.. just wearing the skimpiest clothes and yet again portrayed as a bimbo who was in search of a man .. everytime she walked she looked conscious like she was on some catwalk ... just strips her clothes at the drop of a hat ... yet again a male fantasy...

I have to say that all the characters were looking there best however that is only good for a magazine shot not for a whole movie which requires ’characters’ .

Overall one of the worst movies I have seen lately and obviously catering for an audience that are only there to see flesh and glamour .. what makes me sad is the imfluence that such movies will have on the impressionable youngs minds of the country.. ithe role of woman was so degrading and certainly not a movie that families can watch together..

I have to go and meditate and try to get this trash out of my head the movie is truely disurbing ...
