I reviewed net2phone earlier and this company offers almost the same service except for 1 detail, There is no software to download. Everything runs in a Java console right on your web browser.
I registered for this and started out to make my first net call. A small Java window opens up with a Number Pad in it, so I push the buttons to call my best friend. I get a small delay and then I hear it ring. I hearmy friend answer ’’Hello’’. we talk for about 20 or 30 minutes and the whole thing is flawless. I dont know if I was lucky this time and missed the peak internet time or if the Java console helped with the choppy sound and delay. I couldnt have asked for a better call.
unlike all the other PC to Phone services out there that I have looked into .. this is the only one I have found to be completely FREE. no time limit no hidden cost. As I said before Internet calling has a way to go and is still growing, so dont go out and get rid of your Home phone just yet!!
