This was an extremely emotional book to read. However, it was very good. I feel it should be part of school required reading. Nobody should forget what happened. Maybe then it will not happen again.
It was an incredible read through the eyes of a child who tried to keep hope going beyond what most people could ever endure.
It is so hard to believe that this could have happened. But it was also nice to see that not everyone became a monster. Many people did realize that what was going on was very wrong.
