Dibrugarh University is located at the outskirt of Dibrugarh town. The main attraction of this University is that it is been very well planned & designed with good architecture of each and every departments.
There are more than 30 nos of department at present of Dibrugarh University. All departments have the well upgraded facilities with quality education along with sophisticated practical equipments.
DU also has two big outdoor stadium, one well designed indoor stadium, one beautifully architect auditorium named Rang Ghar where all the cultural programs have been taking place.
Here one department named Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences which provide B.Pharm & M.Pharm degree is the lonely department & University of Assam from where one can take B.Pharm & M.Pharm degrees.Now only Assam University, Silchar has introduced the B.Pharm degree from 2012.
An Engineering College also been introduced in DU in the year 2009 from where one can B.Tech degree.
