The magic of 007 has become colourless

James Bond for many people an idol, for regisseurs a good layout of how a movie, containing a heroic figure, should look like. ’’Die another day’’ is unfortunately not a good successfull sequel of the former Bond-movies. The lates Bondflick has tragically failed to maintain the magic of James Bond. The figure James Bond is supposed to be very smooth, typically british and a womanizer with style and class. In ’’Die another Day’’ James Bond is an old man struggling to keep up with the ’’coolness’’ of former Bonds such as Connery or Moore. Alot of scenes are totally exaggerated and lacking a sense of logic. Of course Bond-movies are not supposed to project extremely realistical scenes, but they should be somewhat realisable and possible. I as a James Bond admirer am very dissapointed of this performance and do hope that the magic of James Bond will rise again and I do believe that Pierce Brosnan has the potential to fill in the blanks that where once filled in by icons such as Connery and Moore.
