I'll Take Bruce Anyday

In the Die Hard series, I became quite used to seeing Bruce Willis run around playing macho man. In fact, I rather enjoyed it. This one is no different.

In this last of a three parter, Bruce and Samuel Jackson play well off each other. Bruce is the police officer and Samuel is the Harlem do-gooder. It begins with Bruce walking the streets of Harlem naked wearing a sign that is politically incorrect regarding African Americans. Of course, he gets into trouble with the locals and Samuel saves his life.It is all rather simplistic.

However, from that point on, the two of them are together like an Oreo cookie. They run through the streets of New York answering clues to a riddle made up by the bad guys. It is all in all, somewhat exciting. Lots of action, guns, car chases, and murder. Typical Bruce Willis. You won’t be disappointed.

The acting is rather good bordering on sufficient, Bruce looks great as usual, and Samuel plays his part quite well. I found that this part of the trilogy was just as good as the other two, which is surprising. I would recommend this to anyone who is a Bruce Willis/Samuel L. Jackson fan. Its worth the rental fee.
