It was not the perfect way to start the new year, when out of sheer boredom I went out to watch Dil Maange More. I thought that the movie might have a Pepsi sponsorship, a la Coca Cola in an earlier Ash film. But it didnt seem so after watching the movie. What a perfect chance missed by the producers to earn some revenue given that neither the box office collections nor the music sales will help them break-even.
The story though slightly different is no better than an average hindi film. To add to it, the screen play is very casual and the music very ordinary. In fact, you would be blessed with a very good memory if you remember the words of any song or its music after you are out of the hall (unless you are a radio buff and keep listening to these songs day in and day out). Also, it is very clear that due to the lack of an adequate script, the director decided to add a song too many. They appear without context and all sound similar.
The only way I would recommend this movie to you is to see it with your girlfriend if she is planning to ditch you (and you dont want her to do that!)
