I enjoy watching Rohit Shetty’s movies. Loved Chennai Express(watched it twice in cinema). Loved Golmal series(First golmaal movie was fab, the other two are ok) also. But what happened with Dilwale. I love SRK movies. though I am not a particular fan of any actors, SRK movies are nice to watch with family.
Loose plot. Did not match with expectation. TO begin with name, DILWALE.Why did they name it as dilwale? Just to get publicity based on Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge? Common yaar you could have come up with some good name.
When you name your movie based on Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge, expectations rises with name only.
You made Kajol a gangster?What’s going on here? I mean we all have seen Shah Rukh Khan in role of gangster in many movies like Duplicate, Don 1, Don 2 but Kajol?
I do not recall if Kajol has done much action movies apart from Karan Arjun and Dushman.She is the best actress and you just wasted her.
You also wasted three best actors by not giving them proper roles and lines.Boman irani, Johnny lever and Sanjay Mishra.Though sanjay mishra had those one liner punches in movies, johnny lever and boman irani were just wasted. Nice combinations of words used by Sanjay Mishra in those one liner punches. I guess Rohit and Shah rukh has earned a lot from advertising those brands which Sanjay had used.
Songs are good. Particularly I like Gerua song. Arijit Singh has done it once again. Even Janam janam song is also good. Once again Arijit singh. As it is rohit shetty’s movie, you would see flying cars, He does this all the time. Fancy cars, some fancy locations and it works for him as well. But not this time. Though the movie has done pretty good business, it is not the movie you would remember it again just like Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge.
Further, you guys were so confident that, you released your movie with Bajirao Mastaani. I mean though sanjay leela bhanshani’s last two movies didn’t work well on box office, this movie was very nice. Awesome performance by Priyanka, Deepika and Ranveer. I am not a fan of Ranveer but this movie is not just a one time watch.I loved this movie.
Guys You can skip Dilwale and if you don’t like history movies than you can go for Star wars but this one you can watch it on TV.
