I can’t decide which - between the Discovery or History channel is my husbands favorites because our TV seems to be on one channel or the other (well - as long as my NASCAR isn’t on, that is Grin)
There are so many programs that are educational on the Discovery channel - programs on animals, medical shows, things about Egypt and also dinosaurs plus many, many other topics. As for myself, I guess I am not so much of a Discovery channel type person but I really do like the crime and forensic type shows that they have on their weekly.
Over all I would recommend this channel to anyone who has an interest in learning much about pyrmids and old type things (sorry - not sure how else to word it). Myself, I am more into sports but that is just my own personal interests ... Discovery does an excellent job with their programing and seems to be a clean and wholesome channel that children can watch also.
