I use Tata sky dish tv. Till last month I was paying minimum of rs165 and taken ala carte and viewing hardly 15 channels including few DD free channels. Now with is new rule minimum I have to pay 153 rupees and even if I take star TV package only for 25 rupees I end up paying more. I have to pay more for other channels not included in this or the 100free channels offered for minimum pay(not useful ones are thrown in as free)
Some how all policies hit only the customers and they are fleeced by deceptive advertising too.
Just because I asked for star Vijay Tamil I end up getting star sports Tamil.
TRAI’s policies benefit only the DTH operaters not the customers.
