Say no to DISH TV : Pathetic

I think you should not go for DISH TV. They just cheat you and there is nothing called Customer Service. They have a toll free number which is only for BSNL. We mobile phone guys have to try the STD number. Usually all calls to them will last for 12 minutes at least cause they will not understand what your issues are.


In the website, under MOD I was informed that "as a new dish tv subscriber you will not be charged for this movie" I happily selected and bingo I was charged along with 13 Rs tax and all that stuff. Call them (std) and they only say its Hindi movie free with your three month subscription.. I say what about the message and they still say its Hindi movie free.. I asked the rep to assume he is ion a supermarket... In a particular segment its written all the stuffs here are free, you pick them happily and in the counter you are charged, how will you feel. No Answer. Hold time 6 minutes (STD). Again came back online “Sir your Hindi channels are free with quarterly subscription. I said I know that and still you have charged me. But what about the message "as a new dish TV subscriber you will not be charged for this movie”. Anyway I was charged for all that should have been free. So next time do not believe any info that’s on the website (free stuffs) their departments are not coordinated. .and if they tell you that they are transferring to some senior guy ... forget it... it will keep ring till your bill reaches the limit or die of low battery


Bottom Line: DISH TV Sucks. I have spent 168 minutes of my Airtel mobile from Mumbai to UP plus pain in my chest.

UPDATE:


Was away from Home.


Came back. After few moments turned on the DISH TV ,  WISH KARO aur  sirf WISH hi KARO.


As soon As I Start the TV , I realize that my subscription is expired just few days back.


Expected that DISH Interactive would provide me a number to call and was also hoping that things would have been improved.


TV starts . and immed.. goes to a screen that says call customer care : 1 860 180 3474


Nothing else.


tried to open website.

  1. There was a link called : RENEW NOW.  ( Happy to see that , atleast I have avoided speaking  )

  2. Tried my best ever , but still getting error: see english.

"we dosen’t received any response code from the payment gateway"


3.Tried with different browsers and with cookies on and off. Third party aswell.


4.If you have any doubt that I may have done it wrong .. I have booked atleast 50 air tickets and many many train tickets , ebay shopping and by profesion IT. Also an MVP award winner by Microsoft.

DISH INTERACTIVE is required the most when you need to contact Customer CARE.


Now this number is a BSNL number.


MY VODAFONE / and TATAINDICOM fone is useless.


They do not care to mention their other number in the so called customer care screen.


They do not care to even tell that the number is a BSNL number.


They do not care.


Shah ruk khan .. aap bas DISH karo apne bandra ke ghar ke upar se... baaki log tho bas wish hi kaenge.


ZEE TV owners have that starnge behaviour pattern.... DNA newspaper , ICL .... etc..... I know its all second grade.  Check out Vijay Mallaya.class.....
