TaTa Cablewala…Hello DishTV.
Tired of the local cable wala bullshitting as to why theconnection is blurd or why the Football world cup was not shown etc etc wedeicided enough was enough.
Next thing was to live without cable for a week This wastough. We almost died with the withdrawal symptoms. Finally we opted to get ourown dish.
The two choices are TATA or DISH TV. Tata was working outexpensive and did not have the VFM ( Value for Money) factor. Hence we optedfor DISH TV.
Now there is nothing to getting the forms filled out andmaking the payment however there was a delay in getting the set installed.
Once installed DISH TV is very user friendly and theperformance quality is superb.
Why it is better than cable
Perfect picture receptionNo worries about the electric supply being down in some weird area.Choice of language on Discovery and Cartoon Network.Camera angles on sport channels.Wide variety of channels No weird ads at the bottom of your screenTV channel info available. ( just wish the logo of the channel would be included to make it easier for our old generations to choose the program they wish)Favourites and groups of channels can be created.Radio channels included esp from Bombay and Bangalore
What I miss ….
BBC ( though this on test phase till 6 Oct)
Sahara One …No news about this channel
FM is broadcasted by not private channels like Radio Mirchietc.
We chose the Rs.375 all inclusive package and ever since havebeen happily at the Not so idiot Box….
Payments to Dish TV are easily done and can be made on aflexi basis suiting your pocket.
