Pros: Only pro is it has lots of HD channels(if ti works)
Cons: Frequent unsubscribed channel message. - Unusable at this stage.
Frequent Signal not found messages. - Unusable at this stage.
If you see any mall function of channel you have to reboot the STB like windows PCs.
You will have to pay Rs.3/- for every SMS for contacting customer service.
STB doesn’t remember video settings all the time. They get reset randomly.
Doesn’t remember last view channel when you turn off the STB. By default it goes to 999 dish tv add channel. Which is quite annoying.
HD channel screen breaks frequently and when customer service is reached about the service problem they say its not Dish tv fault. Its HD channel provider problem(HBO HD, ZStudio HD). If so why are we charged for faulty channel service.
Review: I’ve bought Dish TV HD in March 2011 and now it April 2011. Till today the STB is down nearly 6 times due to various reasons. And non of the above mentioned cons can be resolved at this stage. I wish I had gone with some other provider.
please DO NOT buy DISH TV HD.
