I have been using Dishtv for last 5 years approx and my experience with Dishtv is really good. I am currently using DishTv HD+ wherein you can do recording as well.
When we talk about picture & sound quality so there is not complaint for that as it provides near about 50 HD channels where you can enjoy 5 times better picture and 5.1 surround sound to enjoy. HD+ set top box provide recording facility but the only draw back I found here is, you can not see these recorded program at other devices instead you have to watch it on Dishtv HD+ set top box only. Further if you want to record any program and want to watch another program at the same time so you can not do so simultaneously.
Service & support is also good and provide 24x7 customer support through email or toll free number and staff is supportive. Although you have to pay for every visit the technician make for you but before visit customer exe will provide you full guidance to fix your problem.
Plans and packs are not so costly and all in all its value for money and you should go for it.
