I have been a customer of dishtv for the past 6 months..I used to own a local cable connection earlier to that..But I believed it was time to change with the new era of Lcd & Led tvs.I looked up whats in market and found dish tv to be a good bargain with their offers.I purchased and they readily installed and got my money I was pleased with the connection and all..All was good and then it was monsoons..Every day whenever my fav programmes are on...we end up having no signal...But then I understand its no fault of theirs that the monsoon is messing around with reception...Recently I started getting bad reception in most channels even when it was not raining..When I called up customer care...all they said was that there might be some alignment issue with the dish and I might need to pay Rs 150 for one of their maintenance guy to get it checked..I spoke to them for hours trying to make them understand that an alignment issue is no fault of mine as I am not shifting around their dish antenna or doing any other meddling...
Why should I be paying when I have done nothing to disturb their set ups..its like daylight robbery...it seems the only technical service we get is with making payments...
Now I pay almost twice my local cable connection charges, get interrupted regularly during my fav programmes(due to rain) and have to pay a service charge for any kind of real service..
Isnt that some kind of ripp off...
