Well, everyone knows that technology has got advanced very much and it is improving day by day. But, what would be your feeling, when some product will take you back in the old time and refresh your old memories?? I don’t want to take you ppl time much and writing my review on this product.
Do you people (for those who has seen TV from 1985 to 1995 ) remember those times when TV has been launched in india and everyone was buying the TV sets and country planners (so called our neta jee) were planning to set up TV broadcast stations at different places in india??
Hoping, you have gone in that time frame (Einstein’s TIME MACHINE , hehehehhe).
Also remember, at that time every TV set had one anteena mounted on your house’s roof and every after few days you try to adjust anteena, so that it can catch signals correctly??? Yeah, you have got it.
In fact, after a thunder storm or rain, one person went to roof and adjust the anteena and one person from the TV room guided the person on roof ..... "ABHI SAHI PICTURE AA ARAH HAI YAHIN PE RAKHO" and all lab lab.......... ANd, your frustation to adjust it.
Well, with this DTH you will get the same thing. DTH , just make people fool. A very mild storm or rain will display that NO SIGNAL and you will not be able to see anything. Signal simply goes away. I am using this since around 8-9 months. I have got full idea about this.
In fact changing the channels takes long time. SOmetimes, you have to wait like "AB AAYEGA AB AAYEGA" and finally you will get the message "SCRAMBLED CHANNEL". A little bit( hardly a degree) change in the alignment of the anteena will cause no signal. Believe in me, in fact after a week or so it’s alignment automatically gets changed little bit (in fact no storm, no rain) and you will get a weekly job to adjust the anteena.
You can’t fix this part of the anteena, because it is the CUP, which mounted on the extended rod, which you can’t tied or fixed. Whatever you do, it will always get some place to move. And, after few days it’s alignment will change.
So, PAPA JEE ( hehehehhehe.....) AGAIN GOES TO THE ROOF AND BUNTY AND BUBBLY (not my kids, hehehehhe..........) ARE GUIDING PAPA JEE FROM THE ROOM TO ADJUST THE ANTEENA.
In fact, once I have faced the problem regarding the Setup (which comes with this anteena) box also. AFter a several calls, one service person has come and finally it has got repaired.
Recently, they have launched some more SONY and STAR channels in it. But, again no use, if NO SIGNAL will come.
Good thing is, picture is clear and you will get lot of other channels, which are not available on you cable. But, if you can take all these pains, you can go ahead with this. My question is, if most of the time NO SIGNAL will come, what is the point of good picture and so many channels. It is good for those remote area of this country, where CABLE has not gone or if you are travelling some remote area and like to enjoy TV, then you can use this DISH anteena and after doing all those works mentioned above you can watch TV there.
