I use Dish tv from last 8 months. Most basically why I choose dish tv is because of its low price for any package compare to any other companies.It also gives more channels compare to other dth service providers. Basically I choose dish as I see its A-la-Carte method is best for me, in which I only have to pay for the channels which I want to see. Like every individual channel has its individual price which is cheaper than any other service providers. so I have to choose a package of minimum Rs150/-(Sum of all individual channel price)and then tax wll be include which comes approximately in between170 - 180/-.If choose this method you can’t change the selected channels for 90days. It has also a good picture clarity, not saying best but also not bad, its like good. If you think about price of set-top-box its almost same of any service provider but hd set-top-box price may varies. I also want to mention here that I explain the picture clarity of Dish-Normal not of HD as I use Dish normal.My Remote also shows problem sometimes. If say about its service provider or customer care that’s not so good as I face this problem from beginning when my set-top-box instalation is delay by 3days. Its customer care also not so friendly with customers so i’m not satisfy with it’s customer support. So finally I can recommend you dish only because of low budget package rates.
