Service is pathetic

I am a new user as far as DISH TV is concerned. Have been using Tata Sky for nearly 4 yrs now.


Dish TV Cons:


I had ordered for DISH TV south silver pack and paid for the same. They said within 24 hrs it will be installed it took around 3 days for them to install.


Later when it was installed I had mentioned subscriber application and cash receipt that I have asked for a South Silver pack. Later a customer service person calls and tells me that I am using Platinum package(with is around 400 rs more) and also has 100 days free where as South Silver has 150 days free.


I had told the customer service person about it, he had asked me to send an email to their customer service email id. When I sent they asked me for giving details and scanned copies of the Subscriber order and Cash receipt in which it is mentioned as "South Silver".


After this they say that since it is already mentioned as Platinum package in their system, they say that it cannot be changed, and I have to talk to their dealer in Chennai. Do you think I can say any pros. Can anyone please guide me on how to go about it. Can I put them on to consumer court or any other consumer cell which would help me on this issue. I felt this is ridiculous.


Waiting for your Suggestions. Anyway, will talk to the dealer in Chennai, thought this would help others who plan to take Dish TV.
