I was really surprised to see the price tags offered by Dishnet. I went to the vendor and enquired about their services how well the server is and lots of other connectivity stuffs.
Finally, I decided to buy a 50 hours pack of validity for 1 month which costed me Rs.150/=. I came back home and installed as mentioned in their Manual.
The Registration Dialer got invoked and connected within a few seconds to their server and I was able to finish the registration process within a matter of seconds.
I couldnt believe the speed in which I got connected and registered in their service.
Now happens the original connectivity.
I invoked the Dialer program and it was dialing and dialing and dialing and dialing.......
I had been in this process of getting connected until Midnight 2o Clock. Finally, I gave up my hope of getting connected. I disconnected and went to sleep with a weak heart.
I called up the customer service (the next day)in my place and enquired about the connection process. They said the server was getting loaded due to the publishing of the 10th standard results.
I patiently waited for another 2 days without even getting connected. All these 2 days I had sat until 2 in the midnight and the result, The Line is Busy, Please dial after sometime.
Finally, I again called up the customer service and enquired about the connectivity. The lady who had picked up the phone said to me that might me my password was wrong and asked for my connection password. I gave her the password and she checked it out for me. The reply was it was working fine over there.
Now since, the lady over there knew my password, I asked her if there is any way of changing my password. The answer which she gave me was really frightening. The lady said to me that I had to pay them Rs.500/= for changing my password. I was really shocked and I asked her if there is any online method of changing my password as provided by various other ISPs. She straight away said NO.
I thanked her for her excellent customer service and I went straight to a Cyber Cafe and checked their website for any method of changing the password. It was there in their member login page and it was really disgusting since I lost Rs.30/= as browsing charges.
Now after changing my access password, I came back and tried to get connected, but in vain. Now I had Satyam Online connection of about 5 minutes in validity and I checked the connection. It was working really superb. It straight away checked my username and password and logged me in. Now I went to my friends place to check the Dishnet Account and there also I had got the same answer. The Line is Busy, Please dial after sometime.
I got really frustrated. I again called up the customer service and told them my problem. They told me to change the Modem as such to get connected as there was no problem with their connection. I told them that I had tried the same in my friends house and there also I had got the same reply. The lady told to check my Friends system and if possible to get a new modem to get connected.
This was the first time I had experienced a really good customer service. The answers were also great. That time I decided not to buy Dishnet Dial anymore in my lifetime. I had lost my phone calls, the money I spent on getting the connection and the result, Change my modem.
Till date I am using the same system, same modem with a Satyam Online connection and this one is really superb.
