The menu is a little similar to Goa Portuguesa but certain dishes here are a must try! I went here last week with a bunch of friends as all of us wanted to try out the regional dishes of the land and we were highly recommended this place by friends and colleagues.
I loved the decor of the place which was done up in rustic colours and had a nice vibe to it. We sat down at a huge table and began ordering, albeit with the help of the staffs recommendations.
We called for Chicken Bali Bali, Fry Bombil(Bombay Duck) and Andhra Prawns. To drink we called for Fresh Lime Sodas. It took over 20 minutes for the starters to arrive. They came hot with some dipping sauces and tasted very yummy.
In the Mains we called for one Brinjal Bharta, Surmai Gassi(curry), Ambolis and Parathas. Yes, also a plain rice. The mains were really good and we polished off our plates and all let our a sigh of pleasure!:) I really wanted to try their Bibinca which was served with ice cream and tasted heavenly. Overall, a great dining experience at Diva Maharashtracha. Recommended.
